It assists in learning the locations and names of towns, mountains, rivers, sea features, counties, lakes, headlands and islands through maps based on satellite imagery. The software allows for differentiation of levels beginning with easy to expert, therefore facilitating use of GeoAze by a third class pupil through to adulthood. In addition, an administrator can easily devise new levels determining the difficulty or simplicity of questions/information presented (however GeoAze with Pro license is required for level editing facility). Players can log in under their own name and performance statistics keep track of the user’s progress allowing for effortless teacher based assessment along with pupil self-evaluation and setting of personal learning targets. GeoAze 2 is a useful resource and will assist in the delivery of content outlined under both natural/human environment strands in the geography curriculum."
